The firm of Clayton Mott Solicitors has been established in Nottingham since 1892. We are therefore one of the oldest firms in Nottingham and are proud to have maintained our well-deserved reputation for excellent quality of service and client care throughout our over 120 year history.

The office at Sutton in Ashfield was opened originally in 1997 under the name of Craig Sweet & Lawton. The firm joined with Clayton Mott in April 2006 to become Clayton Mott & Lawton.
The Sutton office is run by Partner Helen Lawton who has practised in the town since 1991. A unique feature to the Sutton office is a free advice clinic to support the local community which runs on Saturday mornings.
